Disappointingly, I have written time and time again to our Secretary, Nicholas Taylor, on this subject but without his response throughout 2015. According to our Constitution [yes, we have one and its viewable on this site], all Minutes should also be posted in our Park Noticeboard. But, again, not to be found. The last meeting was an Annual General Meeting [AGM] - I.e. important! But there is absolutely no information/Minutes about who attended it and what was discussed. My other concern is that our Friend's Group hold funds in a bank account, primarily generated from the annual Festival. As such, the Group is obliged to publish a Financial Statement in September of each year. However, this is nowhere to be found either.
As a member, I am increasingly and reasonable concerned that the Friends' format is not being respected and that decisions affecting our park are being made without any concern for the rules which govern us, as outlined under our Constitution. And, on a day to day note, I have absolutely no understanding about any future projects/events planned for our park due to a total lack of information both online and posted in the park Noticeboard.
